When I originally heard of the new features being introduced, I was "underwhelmed".
Scratchpad? Why do we need a "scratchpad"? I have a very worthy tried and true note system involving a complicated maze of colored sticky notes and because I can be anyplace at any time, my system also involves the use of iPhone to google calendar notes so they remind me of their existence at specified times.
Google integration? I already have my iPhone syncing to my google calendar because my Outlook calendar sync failed and the Apple store "Geniuses" could not make it work. Adding ACT! to the mix would probably just add another piece of technology failure.
Maybe it's best if we eschew obfuscation?
A more advanced search option? I am really, REALLY good at finding data in ACT!
Sage ACT! Connect... A subscription cloud based service allowing you to access your ACT! data from wherever, whenever. Not ideal for an iPhone user. Well, drats for me, but this could be great for someone.
But I downloaded my ACC early release version of Sage ACT! Premium 2012 and I have been playing with it: I feel like the Grinch Who Stole Christmas when he started realizing that it's NOT about packages, boxes and bags!

From prior versions, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Sage E-marketing for ACT!
Now I will fully experiment with the other new features!
I tried to be pessimistic but it didn't work.
